Hi there, I have a twin 8" Sykes floppy drive unit, without any documentation.

I'm after a bootstrap program to read sector zero on the disk and execute it so I can boot from a floppy.

Anyone have any experience?

Does it emulate the RX01/RX02?

RX01 bootstrap is available in the RT-11 Pocket Guide.

Bill,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried the RX01/RX02 bootstrap without any luck. It has it's own controller card, so may not emulate RX01/RX02. There is a version of Unix for the PDP-11/03 called LSX, and there are separate drivers for the Sykes drive, so I suspect that it's different.
